fdci-ifwThe Fashion Design Council of India has announced that Lotus Make-up is once again the Title Partner for India Fashion Week. The FDCI-presented LMIFW Spring-Summer 2020 will be held at National Stadium in New Delhi on October 9 to 13, 2019. The last day of October 13 will be about Designer Stockroom, where India’s top designers will directly retail their creations to consumers at competitive prices.

The 34th edition of India’s biggest fashion event has #MyFashionMyTribe as its theme, which communicates that fashion as a family is inclusive, and embraces people of all genders, colour, ethnicity, professions, body type and age groups. Fashion has always had rigid parameters in terms of what is acceptable, but this year, it is breaking free from those shackles and looking at the spectrum of style minus rose-tinted glasses.

“We are happy to be on board with the FDCI, as diversity has taken center stage; this is synonymous with what our brand exemplifies—beauty without boundaries or barriers,” said Nitin Passi, Joint Managing Director, Lotus Herbals.

“We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with Lotus Make-up. Our theme #MyFashionMyTribe reflects the reality of the fashion world, which is an extended family. Through our event, we want to send out the message that differences in age, size and colour don’t matter and we, as a collective whole, can try to bring some cohesive change,” said FDCI Chairman Sunil Sethi.
