Pooch lovers, along with owners of cats, hamsters and guinea pigs, living in Mumbai got an opportunity to hang out with their pets at a special event Pet Fed powered by Dogsee, India’s biggest pet festival, held at MMRDA Grounds, BKC, across two days, 16-17 December, 2017.
The ticketed even had interesting displays like the Security Dog Show, Good Dog Citizen Program and an Obedience Display. There was also the Pet’s Got Talent, happening for the first time in India, for the especially talented ones, along with a Fashion Show and Temptation Alley. The show was aired on CNBC TV18 in a 30 minute episode. The winners in the competitive section got cash prizes.
Akshay Gupta, Founder, Pet Fed, said ‘’It was the first time that Pet Fed came to Mumbai and we are really happy to have received such tremendous response. We are quite satisfied with the turnout on both the days. We had a line-up of various new, exciting and engaging activities for pets and pet parents, which were very well appreciated by the audience. We have received great appreciation this year for Desi breed Dog initiative, Pets Got Talent & Fashion show of Dogs & Cats.’’
Additionally there was the Off Leash Play Area, with trampolines, ball pools and doggo slides. The Discover Dogs section had 11 dog breeds and cool facts, a Cat Zone,along with Adoption camps for new wannabe owners, and mating sections.
