Made in Italy is the keystone of Rome Fashion Week, which reaches a wider audience, broadcasting in live streaming from Cinecittà studios all over the world. Through the platform – enhanced and enriched with new services – it will be possible to follow all scheduled appointments, and at the same time, for professionals, access reserved areas in which to meet and interact with designers, buyers, etc. even beyond the calendar days, until the end of May.

Silvia Venturini Fendi, President of Altaroma said, “The watchword this year is opportunity we must offer, following our vocation as supporters of young brands, and the opportunity that must be seized by those who participate and by those who work with us, so that the work of these difficult months turns into success and gives a new impetus to the system seriously affected by this pandemic.”

The long process of repositioning the event, as an incubator and promoter of new talents and emerging brands, has definitively led the Altaroma company to fulfill its role as a link with Florence and Milan, expanding the opportunities for growth of young talents, entering a system perspective effectively represented by a continuous calendar that involves all the capitals of Italian fashion.

Adriano Franchi, General Manager of Altaroma  said, “Together with ICE Agenzia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and our Members,  we have worked to give continuity to our task as promoter of all those young independent realities that begin their journey in the Fashion System. In fact, young designers find a natural space within our programs and thanks to them we have spontaneously made our own all those innovative tools and thematic ones, such as sustainability, which would otherwise have required much longer times and articulated steps “.

The new edition of Fashion Talks, organized in collaboration with the 24Ore Business School, opens the three days Sustainability and Made in Italy craftsmanship will be the themes on which all the meetings will focus and which will see guests, among others, some of the institutional figures closest to the company, including the Chamber of Commerce, ICE Agenzia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Lazio Region and the Municipality of Rome.
