India – FDCI’s Amazon India Couture Week 2015 scheduled to kick-off on 29th July, 2015

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI)’s Amazon India Couture Week 2015, in association with jewellery brand Sunar, is set to present 11 stunning shows by India’s top designers at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.

The five days from 29th July to 2nd August, will be all about glamour, with the opening event by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and a grand finale by Manish Malhotra,which is an off-site show. The line up includes Rahul Mishra, Gaurav Gupta, Anju Modi, Monisha Jaising, Varun Bahl, Reynu Taandon, Rimple and Harpreet Narula, Debarun, Rohit Bal and Manav Gangwani. Designer Varun Bahl and Rohit Bal are also holding off-site shows.

The online global retailer Amazon is the title sponsor, an association which started with the last Autumn Winter 2015-16 fashion event. Amazon entered the Indian marketplace exactly two years ago in June 2013, and Amazon.in, and has become an established player.

The other sponsors associated with the event are the jewellery brand Sunar, fashion brand Heroine, which is inspired by the contemporary glamour and grandeur of Indian cinema. More needs be told about the Czech brand PRECIOSA, which is the world’s top supplier of the highest quality machine-cut Czech crystal components; wherein they have participated in International fashion, shows too. Founded in 1948 in Bohemian, PRECIOSA is the world’s top supplier of the highest quality machine-cut Czech crystal components. It primarily produces semi-finished products for the jewellery and fashion industries. The most popular products include crystal chatons, chaton roses, and glass beads. The glamour magazine HELLO! is also associated with the Couture Week this season.
