India – ‘Tales of Art’ exhibition by Great Banyan Art online gallery

great-baniyanThe online gallery Great Banyan Art is hosting an exhibition titled ‘Tales of Art’ that is about the fascinating world of storytelling in contemporary artand its ability to transcend cultural and social boundaries with ease. This will unfold from 30th March to 3rdApril 2016.

The show illustrates narratives present in contemporary world, through art works that reflect and  respond  to  modern­-day  society,  in  a  global  environment,  which  is culturally diverse and technologically advancing.

The exhibition will showcase around 40 artworks from 15 countries across the world. To illustrate the diversity of narrative art, the exhibition draws upon an eclectic mix of emerging contemporary  artists  who  hail  from  USA,  Germany,  France,  Spain, Netherlands,  Turkey,  Poland,  Norway,  Ukraine,  Lithuania,  Korea,  China, Malaysia, Hong­Kong and Philippines.

As  a  whole,  Tales  of  Art suggests  that  the  ancient  art  of  telling  stories  in images  remains  a  vital  tradition  today.

About Great Banyan Art:

The collection represents works of art from leading modernists such as M.F Husain, F.N Souza, S.H Raza, Tyeb Mehta, V.S.
