India –Delhi’s Roseate House and Hyatt bag ‘Best Hotel for Women Traveler’ Award

travel-leisureThe 7th edition of readers’ choice India’s Best Awards were hosted by Travel + Leisure India & South Asia on the 12th of November at ITC Maurya in New Delhi. There were 58 sets of awards across different categories that ranged from the best country, emerging destination, cruise, business hotel, airport, destination spa, and honeymoon destinations in India and across the world. No one went away without an award or two, and all was well. There was even a category for Best Hotel for Women Travelers, which was shared by Roseate House, New Delhi and Hyatt Regency. This is a very important category, and the hotels need to be listed as such. Ranjita of Roseate House, New Delhi pointed out that they take special care of single women travelers, giving them rooms at their choice of floor, close to the elevator etc.

bjorn-rettigThe online voting was conducted through their website (iba2018.travelandleisureindia.in) over a period of three months (August – October ’18) during which time close to 2, 00,000 votes poured in. The event was attended by representatives from each of the winners, along with Opinion Leaders from various industries including travel, hospitality, automobile, aviation, Tourism boards, as well as several international dignitaries.
