suneil-sheetyAll of FDCI’s fashion week venues have had one constant besides glamorous runways, and that is the presence of the chic eatery set up by Olive. This long standing relationship between food and fashion is in its 15th year with the latest season of FDCI’s Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 16.The Olive Group, headed by AD Singh, has been in the hospitality business for 25 years and is an ardent supporter of fashion. Celebrating the fifteenth year of their association, Sunil Sethi, President FDCI, says “The restaurants from the Olive group over the years have become a permanent fixture at the fashion week. We celebrate their milestone by exclusively showcasing their brands with us and strengthening our bond as AD Singh and his team has always supported and worked closely with us for a long time.”

We have all loved most of the restaurants from the Olive group portfolio, which includes stellar award winning brands like the Olive bar & kitchen, Olive Bistro, Guppy, SodaBottleOpenerWala, Fatty Bao, Ek Bar, Monkey Bar, Le bistro olive-kitchen-bardu Parc, LAP Soul Fry, the Local and Taste & Tonic. To commemorate the occasion every day at AIFW AW16, Olive Group’s star chefs and partners will create a special envelope-pushing ‘Olive 2.0’ dish that brings out their take on dishes we may be eating tomorrow. This will be prepared and presented gratis every day between 5pm to 5.30pm. So hey everyone, join the long Qs.

Says AD Singh of Olive group, ‘Our brands are amongst India’s best known restaurant brands where good food, laughter, style and conversation weave together to form great memories. We are deeply appreciative of the gesture by FDCI and thank them for supporting us and helping us in celebrating our journey at the Amazon India Fashion Week’.
