India – Gunjan Foundation hosts panel discussion in association with Kuwait Embassy

On 12th March, 2016, a panel discussion ‘Inspiring to inspire’, was hosted by SushmaSinghvi, Founder of Gunjan Foundation, in association with the Embassy of the State of Kuwait, on the premises of the Embassy in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

Eminent personalities from across a spectrum of fields participated in the panel discussion at the Dinner for a Cause event. Present on the dais wereShri R.M. Lodha, Chief Justice of India, ShriVinodRai, Former Comptroller and auditor general of India, Shri Sunil Bharti Mittal, Founder and Chairman of Bharti Enterprises, MsSaireeChahal, Founder and CEO of SHEROES.in.

The topic of discussion, ‘Inspiring to inspire’ was interesting, delving into the lives of the accomplished panelists in how they found inspiration in their lives and how they continue to be inspired and inspire people around them. The program was convened by RichaAnirudh. The distinguished list of invitees included Shovana Narayan, Sushma Seth, NajmaAbduallah, Nalini Singh, GeetaChandran, AtulChauhan and Puja Chauhan. H.E.Fahad Ahmed, Ambassador of Kuwait with Wife Tasneemplayed gracious hosts at the venue.

About Gunjan Foundation

Gunjan Foundation is an NGO founded in the year 2004 with a mission to pursue educational and other welfare programs for the betterment of the underprivileged particularly women and children. Among many other social activities, the foundation focuses on spreading literacy and vocational training. Currently the foundation runs to capacity with over 220 kids in the morning school and 90 students in the afternoon bridge school. Several vocational training programs viz. beauty courses and tailoring are run for adults to provide a means to help supplement their family income.
