Kazem Samandari, Executive Chairman of L’Opéra,  addressed the gathering, “There has always been a deep and meaningful connection between cafés and culture in France—where artists, philosophers, and thinkers have long gathered to exchange ideas and draw inspiration. With L’Opéra Art Café, it has been our dream to bring this rich tradition to India—where culinary artistry meets cultural expression. ‘A Cup of Art’ is a continuation of this vision, and this Vernissage reflects our commitment to quality, elegance, and the celebration of refined taste in both art and gastronomy. We warmly welcome our guests to be part of this growing artistic and culinary community.”

L’Opéra’s highly anticipated new Canapés collection also made its debut at the event, offering guests a first taste of the brand’s latest gourmet creations. Thoughtfully crafted with the finest ingredients and an eye for presentation, these delicacies are really a treat.  Along with the launch of the new Canapés collection, guests were treated to an exclusive tasting experience of L’Opéra’s Dubai Kunafa Chocolate of crisp kunafa and luscious chocolate. In anticipation of the upcoming Easter celebration, the very talented pastry Chef Duthel Kevin had prepared a magnificent chocolate replica of the Fabergé egg, along with the regular chocolate bunnies and eggs. The equally formidable talent is the Head Chef Duthel Amelie, who also happens to be his spouse. The new additions to the menu are not to be missed.

About L’Opéra

L’Opéra is an authentic Pastry & Bakery House, Salon de Thé and Café Restaurant, specializing in French products in India. Since its inception it has always stood for quality and excellence. The enterprise is the brainchild of Laurent Samandari, who envisioned the demand for authentic, high-quality French bakery & pastry products while on an internship in India early 2008. Later, Laurent’s parents, Kazem and Christine also joined him to help make his vision a reality. The family is actively involved in running the business & maintaining the high standards of service and excellence that it has set itself.

Each of L’Opéra’s offerings, from its cakes and pastries to breads, quiches, and croissants, adhere to the strictest standards of perfection and elegance using high quality products. From their quaint little Macarons to the majestic Galette des Rois and the Mille-Feuille, there is hardly a French delicacy that you can give a miss at L’Opéra. Inspired by the quintessential French ‘Salon de Thé’, L’Opéra remains a  trendsetter in the Indian market for high-end culinary offerings.
