Held over two exciting days in Mumbai, the event featured five expertly curated sessions, a slew of unique activations, and provided collectors with an intimate opportunity to engage with the finer aspects of watchmaking and connect with leading voices in the industry. The event spotlighted the maturity and evolving tastes of Indian collectors, as evidenced by the watches spotted on wrists throughout the weekend.

“Over the years, I’ve witnessed India’s journey as a significant player in the world of luxury watches, and this event captured the spirit of that journey perfectly. From first-time attendees to seasoned collectors, the energy and engagement were unparalleled. This is just the beginning of what India has to offer the global horological world.”, Karishma Karer, Co-Founder, India Watch Weekend.

The India Watch Weekend created a seamless blend of education, hands-on learning, and camaraderie across its five dynamic sessions including a lively and engaging trivia challenge, as well as an engaging panel discussion titled “Your Future Grail”, moderated by Karishma Karer, featuring renowned experts such as Ali Nael, CEO, Arnaud Tellier, Head of Curation, and Mohsin Rizvi, COO from FutureGrail, a Singapore-based premier investment advisory firm for high-value timepieces.

The hands-on watchmaking experience at POGU Watch Service was a standout highlight of the weekend. Other sessions included an elegant sundowner bringing together collectors, enthusiasts, and industry insiders in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. The grand finale was a spectacular Cars & Chronos brunch, blending the worlds of luxury watches and automobiles, hosted in collaboration with BMW Infinity Cars, authorized dealers of BMW.

“India Watch Weekend was a dream come true for collectors and enthusiasts. It was incredible to see the passion and curiosity of such a diverse group of participants, especially first timers who brought fresh energy to the event. This platform has truly redefined the watch community in India, and I’m proud to be part of this milestone moment for horology in our country.”, said Punit Mehta, Co-Founder, India Watch Weekend.
