Essentia Home has inaugurated its second flagship store in New Delhi on MG Road, adding to the existing one in Gurgaon. Founded by Hardesh and Monica Chawla, the creative force behind Essentia Environments, the new store is an evolution of their 25-year journey in redefining luxury interiors. Spearheading this new chapter is Hridik Chawla, leading the Essentia Home Experience Center, a one-stop destination for designers, architects, and connoisseurs of fine living. Spanning 20,000 sqft across five levels, the flagship store is designed as an immersive, multi-sensory experience.
The space offers: Bespoke furniture & sculptural statement pieces, state-of-the-art kitchens, handcrafted soft furnishings, rugs, and curated artworks, luxury vanities, lighting, and decorative accents.

Exclusive Collaboration with Rimadesio
Marking a major milestone, Essentia Home is now the exclusive North India partner for Rimadesio, the globally renowned Italian brand known for luxury wardrobes, sliding doors, architectural systems and furniture. The new store’s ground floor is dedicated entirely to Rimadesio, making it the largest showcase of the brand’s products in India.

The company designs and manufactures sliding doors, partition systems, storage solutions, and complementary furnishings and has a strong presence in residential, hospitality, and corporate projects. With headquarters in Giussano, north of Milan, Rimadesio operates across 90 global markets, with flagship stores in Milan, London, Paris, and New York.

Luigi Malberti, CFO, Rimadesio was present at the launch of their first Indian store with Essentia Home. His strategic vision has guided Rimadesio in adopting environmentally conscious production methods, ensuring that sustainability is at the core of every stage of the manufacturing process. Luigi has championed the use of recyclable materials such as glass and aluminum, and Rimadesio has pioneered the application of ecological, water-based paints in the production of lacquered glass. His dedication to sustainable innovation also led to the company’s early adoption of renewable energy, with a photovoltaic system installed on the Giussano facility’s roof in 2008—an industry first. Rimadesio collaborates with renowned designer Giuseppe Bavuso, resulting in an ever-evolving collection of contemporary, functional pieces.
Luigi works alongside his brother Davide Malberti, CEO of the family holding company, continuing the legacy established by their father, the company’s founder.

“The idea was to greatly reduce, if not eliminate, the stress which was integral when dealing with multiple agencies, and simultaneously to also bring to fruition the ideas exactly the way they were conceptualised by the design room. It’s so much easier to train and incentivise our in-house teams to deliver perfection than outside vendors,” Hardesh Chawla adds.

Designed as a fully immersive journey, the store offers a real-time vision of curated interiors – sculptural living and dining spaces with tactile textures, bespoke bedrooms with automated beds and sumptuous linens, designer kitchens. The store showcases over 1,000 meticulously crafted products – from bespoke furniture for all spaces to wall panels, kitchens, vanities; from soft furnishings to fragrances, artworks and sculptures – everything created by Essentia. Collaborations with Melogranoblu (lighting) and Ichendorf (glassware) complement their collections.
Rajasthan marble creations with exclusive finishes invented in-house are the highlight of their stone marvels. The carpets are produced at Bhadohi.
