Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) will return to Mumbai from 19–22 March 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre. Presented by the House of Lakmē, FDCI and Reliance Brands, the four-day showcase continues the platform’s role as one of India’s most influential fashion forums, bringing together leading designers, emerging talent, buyers and industry stakeholders. Founded in 1999, Lakmē Fashion Week has evolved into a central force shaping India’s fashion narrative, with bi-annual editions in Mumbai and New Delhi supporting both creativity and the business of fashion.
The season will conclude with the House of Lakmē Grand Finale, featuring Péro in its first-ever finale showcase. The presentation will highlight the launch of Lakmē 9to5 Beach Edit, described as India’s first SPF-infused makeup range, designed for Indian summers and on-the-go lifestyles. The collection combines sun protection with sweat-proof, heat-resistant formulas across face and lip products.
FDCI, which represents more than 400 members, continues to strengthen the fashion ecosystem while promoting indigenous crafts and the “Made in India” ethos. Initiatives this season include FDCI Boys Club, featuring Countrymade, Dhruv Vaish, Sahil Aneja and Vivek Karunakaran, and FDCI x KVIC, with collections by Samant Chauhan, Shruti Sancheti, Pawan Sachdeva and COEK. The platform will also host FDCI x Pearl Academy First Cut, showcasing emerging student designers from Pearl Academy.
Opening night will feature AK|OK by Anamika Khanna, while NEXA will present Manish Malhotra, who is set to unveil a new Luxury Pret line.
Emerging talent remains central to the platform. Under NIF Global Presents GenNext, winners Jubinav Chadha, Taarini Anand and Saim Ghani will debut their collections, while The Runway by NIF Global offers student designers a dedicated platform to engage with industry leaders and media.
Sustainability-led initiatives also feature prominently. The R|Elan™ Circular Design Challenge winner Varshne from CRCLE will present a runway collection focused on circular design, while R|Elan™ partners with Payal Pratap for a denim-led showcase highlighting innovation in responsible fabrics. In addition, Kartik Research will make its Indian runway debut through a collaboration between Fashion Trust Arabia and the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.
Among the season’s key showcases, Indriya joins as presenting partner for the first time, spotlighting Amit Aggarwal, while SUPIMA will present AFEW Rahul Mishra. Other collaborations include Lakmē Salon x Verandah, 1664 x Abraham & Thakore, NEXA Spotlight featuring Anurag Gupta, and 360 ONE presenting Aisha Rao. Additional runway presentations will feature Bhumika Sharma, Ritika Mirchandani, Chola, and Satya Paul, while MAX Fashion returns with its collection titled Unserious Everything.
Complementing the runway program, the FDCI Showroom will connect buyers with designers’ latest collections, while the event will conclude with the FDCI Stockroom, offering visitors the opportunity to shop designer pieces at limited-period prices.
All showcases will be live-streamed across Lakmē, Lakmē Fashion Week and FDCI social platforms, as well as on JioTV, extending the reach of the event to audiences across India and globally.
