Global mixology virtuoso and the Beverage Ambassador for Four Seasons APAC, Odd Strandbakken’s celebrated craftsmanship promises evenings of legendary mixology, handcrafted cocktails, and culinary storytelling, as Charles H. makes exclusive stops at Copitas in Bengaluru and AER in Mumbai, in collaboration with The Soul Company.

Born and raised in Norway, Odd Strandbakken’s passion for flavours and culinary innovation has taken him to 47 countries, where he has mastered techniques and uncovered ingredients that elevate the art of cocktail making. Under his leadership, Charles H. continues to redefine the boundaries of cocktail creation. Hidden in Four Seasons Seoul, Charles H. is a glamorous homage to legendary cocktail connoisseur Charles H. Baker Jr., the world traveler and bon vivant who documented his culinary adventures from the 1920s to the 1950s.

The evenings at these bars will feature selections from the celebrated “Destinations” menu of Charles H., inspired by the journeys of Baker Jr. and Odd Strandbakken himself. Guests can enjoy the bar’s take on classic cocktails from various locations- Velvet Martini from London, Hotel Special from Havana, to name a few. For tequila lovers, expect Tarragon Paloma, a signature cocktail crafted with Patrón Tequila, known for its additive-free, handcrafted excellence using traditional methods from Jalisco, Mexico.

Saturday before last, on 30th November 2024, the Yacht Club side of AER at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai’s rooftop, renowned for its sweeping city views, was taken over by Keith Motsi, the Head Bartender and Graham Kimura, Assistant Head Bartender of VIRTÙ at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi. Motsi showcased the innovative blends that have earned VIRTÙ its celebrated ranks as #42 on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2024 and #11 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024. Recently unveiled at a grand ceremony in Madrid, VIRTÙ’s position on the global bar scene has been solidified through its unique Paris-meets-Tokyo cocktail style.
