3 mins read

We were pleasantly surprised to see this jewel of a watch from the Jaipur Watch Company, with its distinctly historic appeal, made as it is of a one Rupee coin minted in 1947, the last of the lot under the British Raj.

The coin has an Indian tiger standing and facing left. The legend below has India with the year 1947. The value of the coin is inscribed in Devanagari, English and Urdu.

A premium Swiss Quartz mechanical movement powers the watch. The strap is genuine high-quality handcrafted leather. The outer dimension of the case is 39 mm. The crystal of the watch is made of sapphire. The screwed down back cover of the watch is made of gold.
