jewelry-by-jewel-thiefSizzling May in Delhi is readying for a scorcher end of this month, with the exclusive showcase of Jewellery by Jewel Thief, at the Emporio Mall on the 24th May, 2016. The by-invitation-only event planned around the launch is expected to have the glitterati of Delhi, for the special preview of the jewellery line and interaction with Saraswati Kaul Jain, the lady behind the project.  Our sources tell us that heavyweights like Dr Farooq Abdullah ex-CM J&K and Dr Shashi Tharoor, former diplomat and Member of Parliament are going to grace the occasion.

Intrigued by the name ‘Jewellery by Jewel Thief’, we cornered pretty Saraswati for the details. It seems the only ‘theft’ is that of designs that are inspired from across cultures. The line is an eclectic blend of a little bit of this and a little bit of that, an assortment of materials, drawing from the canvas of life in general, something that a Jewel Thief does. Elaborating upon her jewellery line, Saraswati said, “Our collection crashes all barriers jewel-thiefof age/colour/country- it is unique, colourful, trendy and a perfect blend of modernity and tradition. It is a quintessential expression of your colourful personality.”

The Delhi based Saraswati Kaul Jain spoke about the inspirations that helped to put together her collection. Her enterprise is the product of her passion for travel and unique jewelry she collects from whic1h ever country she is in. Steadily she developed the concept and desire to generate a range which is unique, varied and universal. It helps that she has a MBA degree in International Business. The concept is to steal designs and ideas from various cultures and Mother Nature. “I am a nature enthusiast with a keen eye for all things which conform to nature,” added Saraswati Kaul Jain
