The eighth season of the 2015 Indian Premier League is in full swing. In the spirit of the sport, Antony Page, General Manager – at JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity and Sandeep Gupta for Delhi Daredevils hosted a lively evening at the JW Lounge on Friday, 10th April.
The Delhi Daredevils team flew in just that afternoon, yet most of the team was present in full force, and mingled with the other guests at the venue.
April is yet a good time of the year, with pleasant weather and clear skies, not counting the freak rains we have seen here in Delhi these past few days. The outdoor Cabana at the JW Marriott, with its water bodies and flame lamps was the perfect setting.
Sportsmen exude very positive vibes, which could be why they attract so much adulation and a huge fan following. The Delhi Daredevils were very upbeat. Sporting fortunes keep swinging for all kinds of reasons. Angelo Mathews was quoted recently to have said, “T20 is all about enjoying yourself, having fun. You can’t put a lot of pressure on us individually. We just have to go out there and enjoy.” We totally agree.
