The Christmas spirit is in evidence at The Leela Ambience Gurugram, soon as one enters the grand lobby of the hotel. Installed right there is a huge Gingerbread Housemade by 900 Kgs of ginger bread flour and 600 kgs of royal icing, which took 15 days for the hotel’s bakery team to build, under the guidance of Executive Pastry Chef Anurag Barthwal, using 7000 ginger bread tiles. This house is 6.4 m high and 11.5 m wide.
That’s not all. Inside this house is a display of homemade Christmas goodies like chocolate Santa’s, Christmas trees, miniature of ginger bread houses, Christmas Stollen, cakes, and assorted cookies. Christmas hampers are available for gifting.
This year, the Gingerbread house is also displaying a complete range of Roca bathroom products. There is the Virginia freestanding, Stratum Basin and furniture, as well as Puzzle shower collection etc. Adding to the festive look is the seven meter high Monumental Christmas Tree in the centre of the hotel lobby decorated with traditional ornaments and 1000 Christmas balls in sync with the 1000+ likes on the Facebook page – @TheLeelaAmbienceGurgaon.
The Leela Ambience Gurugram has partnered with Roca to help the underprivileged children of Sunshine Project, under which anyone who makes a donation, stands a chance to win a bathroom makeover with Roca products, worth INR 8,00,000 or some exciting prizes from the hotel.
