Online is the way forward, and art galleries are now going virtual. The latest is a month long online art exhibition; FUTURE IS NOT FIXED, jointly presented by two Delhi based galleries, Nature Morte and Vadehra Art Gallery. The show is scheduled from 20 August to 20 September, 2020 for a month on NatureMorte.com and VadehraArt.com.
Future Is Not Fixed considers a creative interpretation of the times uncertain and future unknown, an artistic reflection of inner and outer worlds, a heightened sense of anxiety and solitude and the new way of being borne by the times unfamiliar. The works of art, fueled by a perspective unacquainted, a narrative unknown, appeal to the imagination of the tainted fixtures of the worlds we once lived and sought to live.Curated by Arjun Sawhney, the FUTURE IS NOT FIXED is an attempt to illustrate these feelings as we live through this point in history. This is the reality of today and this is the truth. The future is not fixed. Not at all anymore. Aparajita Jain and Roshini Vadehra are proud of their roster of presenting artists at the show that features the genius works of 24 distinguished artists including Bharti Kher, Subodh Gupta, Thukral & Tagra, Dhruvi Acharya, Anju Dodiya, Gigi Scaria, Jitish Kallat, Riyas Komu and many more.
