Delhi’s status as ‘dull night life’ city is quickly changing with more and more options opening up. The latest addition is the launch of a party den ‘Informal’ at 52 Janpath, Tolstoy Lane. The venture is backed by Bel Cibo Hospitality, which has made a success of its first venture ‘Imperfecto’, opened in 2012, operating in Hauz Khas Village and Cyber Hub in Gurgaon.
The launch party on the 4th September picked up steam over endless cocktails as music thumped, and Chef Nuria Rodríguez Parra served her delicacies. The event saw a decent turnout with gentlemen and ladies of the media, designers, artists, who gave their thumbs up to the venue. ‘Informal’ will open its doors to the public in second week of September, 2015.
‘Informal’ is spread over 7,000 sqft and true its name, has grunge interior deco with industrial elements such as; aluminum composite flooring, wooden glass panes, exposed brick walls and a rustic, earthy environ which adds to the feel of an underground club. With the underlying theme as ‘Informal’, the outdoor area with quirky wooden detailing was as expected. The venue boasts of a cutting edge sound system, a full events calendar of live music and DJ-led club nights. It promises to bring a high level of creativity to casual dining with an array of healthy food options – from the charcoal grills of the Far East to the tandoors of Central Asia.
Bel Cibo Hospitality, with Sharad and Naresh Madan as its Founders and Directors, was set up in 2012, and launched its first Venture IMPERFECTO in April 2013 and never looked back. In the short span, Team Bel Cibo has forged a reputation as one of Delhi’s top restaurants. Imperfecto has been voted the ideal place for that very special night out and the best spot in Delhi/NCR to dine in the ambient moonlight, whilst enjoying the live music from some of the best Live Band entertainers the city has to offer.
Bel Cibo currently manages 3 restaurants in Delhi NCR. The group has substantial developments in the pipeline with 3 more upcoming projects in Delhi NCR and Mumbai.
