India – Reliance Brands Ltd and Designer Rahul Mishra to collaborate for a new RTW brand

Reliance Brands Limited (RBL) together with Rahul Mishra (RM), are collaborating to create and own a new brand with Rahul Mishra’s ready-to-wear (RTW) business through a 60:40 Joint Venture (either by itself and / or through its affiliates). Rahul Mishra will lead the new brand as its Creative Director and present its RTW collection at one of the global fashion weeks. As per plans shared with the media, the brand will grow both vertically and horizontally to cross pollinate creativity further in the fields of accessories, footwear, home, beauty, and jewellery for a worldwide audience.

Designer Rahul Mishra has gone from strength to strength since he won the prestigious Woolmark Prize in 2014. He has since become a regular at Paris Fashion Week and made a mark globally.  In January 2020, he was the first Indian designer to show at Paris Haute Couture Week.  He retails at some of the best stores across the globe, such as Colette in Paris, 10 Corso Como in Milan, Harvey Nichols in London, Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, David Jones in Australia, Joyce in China, and the likes of Moda Operandi and Farfetch with online retail.
