3 mins read

Last week, Shingora announced the launch of their Home Label, with a special preview of their latest collection of throws and cushions at their plush buyer’s lounge in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. The Ludhinana based Shingora brand has so far been synonymous with woollen shawls, wraps, scarves and stoles, scaling up to the luxury segment with the opening of their stand alone store in the DLF Emporio Mall. ThePresident of Shingora, Amit Jain, while speaking to The Luxury Chronicle, revealed that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Shingora merchandise goes towards educating a girl child, as per the initiative of the Shingora Foundation.

The latest line of Shingora Home Label offers collectibles in jacquard, inspired by the Florentine gothic architecture. The Shingora design team has made an effort to revive the golden age of William Morris. Medieval style tapestry motifs like wreaths, parrots, pomegranate etc are tessellated to create overall patterns in interesting 3D surfaces. The collection highlights prints and jacquard, paired with a cocooning, deep, vibrant and intense colour palette.

The second set of the collection is inspired by the traditional Paisleys, which continue to rule. The use of large prints in a bold color palette of rich plums, pinks and teals with the signature Shingora red, gives a contemporary twist to the traditional designs, with a fusion of painterly floral and intricate paisleys.

The third category is about spring and summer, with modern floral edgy prints that are quirky and fun, with beautiful heirloom colors from daylilies and roses. A dash of turquoise, black and pink pop has been integrated to connect the range with the rest of the collection.
