The Swiss-made watch brand, TUDOR has unveiled five new timepieces at Watches & Wonders 2025, living it up to its legacy of technical innovation and bold design. For those who don’t know this, the origins of TUDOR date back to 1926, when “The Tudor” was first registered as a brand on behalf of the founder of Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf. He created the Montres TUDOR SA Company in 1946 to offer watches with the quality and dependability of a Rolex, at a more affordable price point. This robustness and affordability has made TUDOR watches chosen by the boldest adventurers on land, underwater and on ice.
The new watches include:
PELAGOS ULTRA – A saturation diver’s dream, boasting 1,000m water resistance, a proprietary bracelet adjustment system, and a 43mm with case in grade 2 titanium, case back in grade 5, 43mm in diameter, with a unidirectional rotating bezel and matte ceramic insert with combination of Grade X1 and BGW9 Swiss Super-LumiNova® luminous material.

The ceramic markers are outlined in black, as are the hands, to create a bold contrast, making it suitable for any type of exploration, whether polar or subterranean. A choice of three bracelet designs: black Jacquard fabric, hybrid rubber and leather or riveted 316L steel with TUDOR “T-fit” clasp with rapid adjustment.

BLACK BAY CHRONO – Now available with both 3-link and 5-link bracelet options featuring the “T-Fit” clasp. Boasting a 70-hour power reserve and a silicon balance spring, the Manufacture MT5813 Chronograph Calibre is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). In fact, where COSC allows an average variation in the daily running of a watch of between -4/+6 seconds’ variation per day, TUDOR applies a -2/+4 seconds’ variation standard on the completely assembled watch. A high-performance movement, it was crafted in the purest watchmaking tradition, with a column wheel mechanism and vertical clutch

BLACK BAY 58 –This new edition of the Black Bay 58 retains all the core design elements from TUDOR throughout the ages and includes aesthetic notes from a prototype TUDOR Submariner ref. 79190 developed in the ‘90s. The watch boasted a brilliant burgundy dial with a matching bezel. It never saw production, but this design now lives on in the form of a brand-new Black Bay 58. On top of the new design, the new Black Bay 58 gets the Master Chronometer certification, one of the industry’s most demanding standards in terms of chronometry and resistance to magnetic fields. Each fully assembled watch is tested in Switzerland by the Federal Institute of Metrology or METAS. To tie the whole package together, the new Black Bay 58 is now available on a 5-link bracelet, a 3-link bracelet, or a rubber strap. All three have TUDOR’s rapid adjustment system known as T-fit, making the watch more wearable than ever before.

THE ESSENCE OF BLACK BAY
The Black Bay line features dials inspired by the TUDOR divers’ watches produced during the 1950s. It borrows the characteristic angular hands known to collectors as “Snowflake” from models that appeared in the brand’s 1969 catalogue. Its shoulder less crown and the characteristics of its case are reminiscent of the first generations of TUDOR divers’ watches. The Black Bay line is the result of the subtle blend of traditional aesthetics and contemporary watchmaking. It is neo-vintage in conception, yet its manufacturing techniques, reliability, robustness and the quality of its finishes are consistent with today’s more rigorous requirements.
THE TUDOR GUARANTEE
Since its creation by Hans Wilsdorf in 1926, and in line with his vision of an ideal watchmaking product, TUDOR offers a five-year guarantee on all its products. This guarantee does not require the watch to be registered or any periodic maintenance checks to be performed and is transferable should the watch change ownership during coverage. TUDOR also recommends that its watches should be serviced approximately every 10 years depending on the model and the extent of its use on a day-to-day basis.
