Worldmark at Aerocity shows all the promise of becoming the latest happening destination for a family outing. On Friday, 11th December, this new high street retail and leisure destination hosted the popular stand-up comedian Amit Tandon and Gaurav Gupta. It was interesting to note the overwhelming response from the public.The denizens of Delhi, it seems will go to any lengths for a new experience.The venue was packed to the rafters on a winter Friday evening, despite it being a ticketed show. The evening was enjoyable as Tandon kept the audience in splits to the last minute.
The food court, which sees more business on weekday afternoons from the corporate crowd in offices in the Worldmark properties, were abuzz with activity with the large turnout queuing up for the wide assortment on offer.
Amit Tandon, known as ‘the married guy’ in the stand-up comedy circuit, is a master at sharing amusing, observational, and hugely relatable anecdotes. Amit joked about everything personally painful to him – from marriage to politics to road traffic and to even women in general.
