Located on the 21st floor of Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, Copitas, known for being the first bar in the city to appear on Asia’s 50 Best Bars, has launched a new cocktail menu inspired by music. The concept draws on the longstanding relationship between music and cocktail culture, tracing connections from 1920s jazz clubs to modern electronic music.
The new menu is structured around musical eras and genres, with each drink referencing a specific style—from swing and disco to contemporary electronic beats. The drinks are intended to evoke both auditory and gustatory responses, encouraging guests to engage with cocktails as part of a broader sensory experience.
“Music and cocktails have always shared a dialogue—one evokes memory, the other lingers on the palate,” says Kazim Mehdi, Director of Food & Beverage at the hotel. “With this menu, we’ve tried to bring that connection to life in a tangible, multi-sensory way.”
Among the highlights are –

Rasamary, a bold tribute to pop music. Clean vodka meets smoky peated malt, layered with tangy tomato and rasam powder, while lemongrass and chili add a playful beat—refreshing, vibrant, and unapologetically local.
Shokunin, inspired by disco’s flamboyant rhythm. Gin and Campari lay down the groove, while cacao nibs, coffee, and beetroot bring indulgent depth, creating what the team calls “a chocolaty, tropical cocktail with a smooth finish.”

Sher Thakur, Bar Manager, Copitas, Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru
For Bar Manager Sher Thakur, who has led the choreography of this new menu, the standout remains. “This collection was designed for those who live and breathe music. Chord and Crisp is my personal favourite. Vodka sets the rhythm, thyme and Parmesan bring savoury depth, and watermelon and lime add balance. It is soulful, clean, and herbaceous, much like the blues itself.”
The menu design also plays into the theme, featuring tactile elements like folded cards, illustrations, and CD-style coasters with lyric fragments.
Rather than introducing new techniques, the focus appears to be on thematic storytelling—an attempt to bridge music and mixology in a curated drinking experience.
