India –FDCI’s List and Schedule for AIFW A/W2016 announced

fdci-india-fashion-weekThe upcoming Amazon India Fashion Week autumn-winter 2016 in association with Maybelline New York, has an impressive lineup of designers, as was revealed in the schedule and list of designers announced by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI).The five-day event will be held from March 16-20 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Lodhi Road.

The week from March 16– 20, 2016 will have the participation of 101 designers from across the country, showcasing their talent. Of these, 45 designers will present their collections on the runway in 30 shows. VarunBahl will open the shows on Day 1 and the finale will have a mix bag of 9 established names in the fashion industry such as Rahul Mishra ,AnjuModi, Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna , Abraham &Thakore.Some of the 47 designers who will have stalls are Designers AM:PMby Ankur&PriyankaModi, RohitBal, Manish Arora, KavitaBhartia are RaseelGujralAnsal’s Casa Pop will participate as accessory designer

Announcing the schedule, Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI said, “As the latest edition of the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2016 is set to begin, we are delighted to announce the schedule of the best talent pool, who with their inventive ideas will make it a riveting ride.”The Amazon India Fashion Week is a frontrunner in trend forecasting and provides lucrative opportunities to a sea of professionals from myriad fields–from makeup artists, choreographers, hairstylists to set designers and getting coveted buyers from all over the country and internationally, the FDCI has helped the industry grow by leaps and bounds.
