FDCI Hyundai India Couture Week being held in association with Reliance Brands commenced on schedule on Tuesday, 25th July, 2023 with designers Falguni & Shane Peacock presenting their collection at the Durbar Hall in Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.
Pastel shades dominated their ‘Renaissance Reverie’ collection. The line reflected their love for art and the treasures they encounter during their travels. Inspired by colours of art of the Renaissance era, and the influences of embroidery textures, the designers paid homage to European architecture, and fashion, while simultaneously honoring the artistic mastery of Indian influences and inspirations.
Western silhouettes, tulle veils, cloaks, gowns, lehengas, each garment in the collection a testament to cultural exchange and the invaluable lessons they have learned from the past. The meticulous workmanship of the skilled artisans remained the focal point.
Acress Kiara Advani was the showstopper wearing that one bright outfit.
