India – – IMC Ladies’ Wing Hosts 38th Women Entrepreneurs’ Exhibition with 286 Brands from 31 Cities

The 38th edition of the Women Entrepreneurs’ Exhibition, organised by the Ladies’ Wing of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, opened to an enthusiastic response in Mumbai, showcasing 286 women-led brands from 31 cities across India.

Held ahead of the festive season, the exhibition featured a diverse range of offerings including gourmet food, fashion, home décor, sustainable products, and traditional crafts. Many participants were first-time exhibitors without a retail presence, reflecting the platform’s growing role in empowering emerging entrepreneurs.

The inauguration was attended by actor Manushi Chhillar, who praised the initiative as “a celebration of women who dare to dream.” She was joined by Rajyalakshmi Rao, President of the IMC Ladies’ Wing; Kalpana Shah, Exhibition Chairperson; Juveca Panda Chheda, Co-Chairperson; and committee members. A message from Smt. Kokilaben Ambani was read during the ceremony.

Rajyalakshmi Rao shared, “My presidential theme this year, Evolve to Excel, beautifully captures the spirit of the event—it’s a call to action for every woman to embrace change, take on challenges, and move forward with confidence and courage.”

This year’s theme honoured legendary artist Raja Ravi Varma, known for his iconic depictions of empowered women. The exhibition also spotlighted handcrafted work from artisans and NGOs in Siliguri, Ganeshpuri, Sujangarh, and Shekhawati, celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage.

Prominent guests throughout the day included Rashmi Thackeray, Sunita Kapoor, Poonam Sinha, and Poonam Dhillon, among others.

With applications already underway for its next edition, the exhibition continues to serve as a vital platform for promoting women-led innovation and enterprise nationwide.
