The French auction house, Artcurial Motorcars is hosting the Garden Party in Saint-Tropez, where an exceptional auction is to take place on Saturday, 29 June 2024, at the prestigious Saint-Tropez Golf Club in Gassin, on the French Riviera. Following a ‘white glove’ sale in Monaco for The W Collection: From Stockholm to Monaco, which fetched over €30 million, this new event will once again gather car lovers and collectors on Saturday 29 June.

The 100 cars will be displayed for two days on the fairway in the style of a Concours d’élégance before the auction, which will be happening in the Orangeraie, an eerie canopy with a majestic glass roof. Estimated at around €15 million, this collection of 100 cars includes exceptional models that are amongst the most coveted on the market.

An exceptional French collection, never seen before at auction. Coming from a very important French collection, Saint-Tropez Golf Club’s fairway will host a complete range of Mercedes Benz SL cabriolet models, including the 1958 300 SL Roadster (Estimate: €900,000 – €1,100,000) and all models following this date until today, including the rarest and most sought-after AMG and Brabus models (Estimate: €320,000 – €380,000). Most of these SLs have very low mileage and are all maintained by the same dealer. This line of convertibles has become legendary at Mercedes and contributing to their reputation for excellence and unrivalled exclusivity.

Matthieu Lamoure, Directeur Artcurial Motorcars said, “Saint-Tropez, one of the most iconic places in the world, is synonymous with parties, sunny beaches and luxury, where the world’s most famous celebrities have always gathered. On 28 and 29 June, the 100 Collector Cars selected by Artcurial Motorcars for their history, provenance, condition and appeal will, for one afternoon, become celebrities and take center stage. Expect a sale with an exceptional line-up and a festive atmosphere!”

A 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ (Estimate: €700,000 – €1,000,000) was sold new by SOFAR in France. With a pristine provenance, this piece belonged in a French collection, gathered by a passionate enthusiast who drove it for several rallies, including the Tour Auto. From the same collection, a 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione coupé, produced in only 500 examples, fresh on the market from a French collection, and with only 15,000 km on the clock.

With a 8C Coupé in the sale, it was only natural to include a 8C Spider with its 10,000 original kilometers, fresh on the market from a French collector. A supercharged saloon, the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTam, will also complete this exceptional line-up from Turin!

No fewer than 18 classic and more modern Ferraris will be presented in this exclusive sale. From the prestigious Jean-Pierre Slavic Collection, a great enthusiast of the Prancing Horse marque, a Ferrari 330 GTC in exceptional original condition and a fully restored Ferrari 250 GTE; both certified by Ferrari Classiche. The classics include a uniquely coloured Dino 246 GT, one of only 52 to leave the factory in this shade of Blu Chiarro Metallizzato, and a Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, Blu Sera metallizzato (est. €600,000- 800,000) bought new by Giancarlo Gagliardi, F1 and endurance driver for NART and the Filipinetti stable
