The Italian restaurant Sorrento at Shangri-La Eros New Delhi has refreshed its menu, bringing new zing. The magic of freshest of Burrata cheese, tomatoes in a salad and life is good. Chef Gagandeep has kept high the standards of his award-winning restaurant. The butternut squash soup with goat cheese is a healthy must. There’s gnocchi for those who like it, made with Parmigiano Reggiano or parmesan cheese. Spaghetti and Risotto and some more.
Do try the Baba Au Rum, which is served with the drama of a flambe routine tableside. The traditional Espresso teams with vanilla ice cream in the Caramel Affogato. Go for it. Forget the calories. Do pair with the wines on offer.

A helpful note for those watchful of stairs or uneasy with elevator buttons, the Sorrento is located at lobby level and easily reached. Smooth sailing.
