India / Italy – Dr. Alessandro Liberatori now New Italian Trade Commissioner, Embassy of Italy

alessandroDr. Alessandro Liberatori has taken charge of his new office as Trade Commissioner and Director of the Italian Trade Commission, New Delhi and the Coordinator of Trade offices in Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bangladesh, as of  November 1, 2019. He takes over from his erstwhile counterpart, Dr Francesco Pensabene, who left last month at the end of his tenure. Prior to this, he served as the Trade Commissioner to Jakarta, Indonesia from 2015-2019. Dr Liberatori has also served as Trade Commissioner to Croatia from the year 2006 – 2011 and as the Head of Business Assistance division and Capital goods, Energy, Environment department at the headquarters in Rome.
