India – Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra to present 75th ‘Shriram Shankarlal Music Festival 2024′

The Capital’s much awaited annual festival of Indian Classical Music, the prestigious ‘Shriram Shankarlal Music Festival 2024′, returns to its usual venue at Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra Lawns, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi. Scheduled from 6.30pm onwards on 27th, 28th and 29th March 2024 this remains one of the oldest music festival, going strong for over seven decades. The Indian classical music’s top maestros have performed on the stage here. The line-up is equally impressive this year too. The luminaries who will be performing over the three days are Pandit Pravin Godkhindi & Shri Shadaj Godkhindi (Flute), Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar (Hindustani Classical Vocal), Vidushi Manjiri Asanare (Vocal), Dr. N. Rajam & Sangeeta Shanker (Violin), Pandit Purbayan Chatterjee (Sitar) and Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty (Vocal).

Through Shriram Shankarlal Music Festival, the Kendra has made a mark for itself in the arena of performing arts and has been nurturing its basic ideology of binding rich Indian traditions onto the wings of current generation as it paces through the clouds of materialism.
