The much-awaited event in the calendar of luxury watches, Watches & Wonders Geneva (WWG) 2020 stands cancelled in face of the Corona Virus pandemic. As per a press release issued by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie, (FHH) the organizer of Watches & Wonders Geneva, said that the event that was initially due to take place in Geneva from April 25th to 29th 2020, will not take place this year, in anticipation of the potential risks that travels and important international gatherings could entail. The FHH is already working on the organization of 2021 edition of Watches & Wonders Geneva.

Last October, FHH, which owned the watch trade show SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie),  underwent a rebranding exercise, when it changed the name of the consumer and trade fair to become simply Watches & Wonders Geneva. FHH also owns the industry idea incubator FHH Forum, as well as The Mastery of Time traveling exhibition. As of this year, the Watches & Wonders Geneva was to be broken up into two components: Watches & Wonders-The Salon and Watches & Wonders-In the City.
