L’Opéra, the first of its kind French Pâtisserie, Boulangerie and Salon de Thé in India, recently added its 16th outlet in the busy M-Block market in Greater Kailash 2, New Delhi. Not yet a decade old, the first L’Opéra flagship had opened in Delhi’s popular Khan Market in 2011. Founded by the Samandari family, L’Opéra has gained unprecedented popularity for its authentic French tea-house experience, right down to pavement seating facility, where one can indulge in coffee, chatter and people gazing. It is known for its selection of authentic Viennese, breads, cakes, pastries, savouries and confectionery items.
The latest additions to the collection include GKII, Green Park, Defence Colony and Max Towers.L’Opéra is the brainchild of young Frenchman Laurent Samandari, who envisioned the demand for authentic, high-quality French bakery and pastry products while on an internship in India, as part of his business degree. Laurent’s parents, Kazem and Christine Samandari also joined forces with him in Delhi to help grow L’Opéra and make it one of India’s most loved brands. The family is actively involved in running the business and maintaining the high standards of service and excellence.L’Opéra has entered into a strategic partnership with the DS Group last year.With the popularity growing by the day, L’Opéra is in the process of expanding its presence in Delhi-NCR and Pan-India. The company plans to operate over 50 outlets in the next five years.
